Bad Beat List
2008 - Here is the badest of the bad for this year so far. I was playing in a Stud tourney and the main prize was $900+, I was on the bubble to make it to the final table where the prizes grown considerably. I had a nice size stack and was sitting in 4th place overall. I was telling myself I was going to be very tight so I would not get knocked out before getting to the last table. But of course I look down at my first three cards and they are all jacks!!! Needless to say I bet heavily and on the showdown my trips lost to a straight that he got on the river, gut shot actually to make it worse.
